HELP! TMAXX ENGINE
Hi guys, i have a problem my tmaxx engine blew, i need help picking which engine to buy with a pretty low boudget. no more than 225 dollars. im looking for a durable, and powerful engine. im looking for a easy slip on engine.

traxxas has a lifetime engine replacement, I took my stock 2.5 to my hobby shop and they gave me the new 2.5 race engine for almost half off im sure yours would do the same.

Dont send your motor back to traxxas. That would just be a hundred dollar waste.
Get a OS .18 TM Is a direct drop in and will haul ass and tons of power.

thanks guys but this is a perfect oppurtunity for a engine upgrade. What happened to my tmaxx is that i was being an idiot and after taking the spark plug out for some reason i forgot to put the gasket back on it. i started it an d ran it without the gasket. The engine was obviosly leaking and when it went to suck it sucked in dirt. After that my engine had no compression.

Get the O.S. .18tm its an awesome engine. I got mine about a month ago and will never look back again. I got it for $210 at my lhs but you can get them on ebay for like $185 shipped. Or you can get it for as low as $170 on tower if you use one of their coupon things.

I bought my sirio .23 for 240 dollars....www.bmihobbies.com call him and he ships internationally...i have the engine never blown a plug,never overheated and 2 gallons have been through it...i love it

civic I don't know how everyone else is getting their coupons but I get mine through email. Once you buy something from them you get them all the time, normally 25 to 30 bucks off with a order adding up to a certain amount. I also get them through snail mail when I get my new catalog.............GW
