Default ez-start slipping.

I just put in a o.s.18tm in my tmaxx and the ez-start was working for a few starts buy then it started not moveing the morder. it truns and some times mover ther morder 1 or 2 truns but then just keep spining. I put 2 washers on one screw so the ez-start is not flash to the morder and it seems to work. any know why this is happing?

Probably a dirty or broken one way bearing (owb). New motors are notoriously hard on owb's. Try cleaning the owb and if that doesn't fix it, replace it.
Once you get running again, back the glow plug out just a bit, start the motor then snug the plug back down.
Once you have 1/2 - 1 gallon thru the motor it shouldn't be a problem anymore.

Yeah, sound's like your OWB, they are cheap and easy to install.

clean the bearing first, it is fukll of oil from your new engine running rich. Pop it off and spray it with nitro cleaner. Wipe it dry(also the crank shaft its on)and apply one way bearing grease to it.
Dont buy it yet though
