Collari .32
I have an .18 TM and am thinking about getting a Collari .32 or .30 and interchanging them between bashing and racing. I'm not worried about price because I can get a collari cheaper than my O.S. but I've heard some stories about the Collaries loosing compression rather quickly. Does anyone else run these motors that can attest to this or do these people just not know how to tune an engine and ruin it?

RE: Collari .32
it needs a new backplate. for either pullstart or roto-start. thats up to you. basically if you were running a starterbox you can use a backerplate from a mach 26 and be good to go. $125.00 ??? Make me an offer, I like to trade too. Im looking for an 1/8 scale starterbox for my buggy, 40 series wheels and tires or whatever. When the backerplate went to crap it was running super, run atleast 30% fuel in it. I cant get it to run good on anything else.

You can run whatever pipe you want, but I recommend the NEW ERA MODELS header $29.99 and Ripple Torque pipe $29.99. Fits excellent, Oh I have the offset motormount for it as well.

I'd have to pass on that one. I couldget one new for about $200. Nice offer though. I'm not even 100% it would be a collari. I'm also looking at the O.S. .30 and .21 v-spec among others.

RE: Collari .32
I wasn't impressed with my collari 32. it was hard to tune and had hardly any compression, my O.S. 30. on the other hand rocks, very easy to tune very reliable I'm actually able to enjoy my truck .
