dont get the nitrous. its proven that itll shorten the life of your engine. if you are looking into changing motors then id look at the sirio .23 or the .18TZ those are awesome engines thatll have more power then needed any time you want it. also are you looking to just mess around on the street and bashing or are you racing? it sounds by the way your tlking bout speed that you want to drive mainly on street but im just checking, youd be able to do both but im just asking

The RB TM323 is a great engine, and a wonderful alternative to the Sirio .23 (doesn't come with pipe... and is more expensive) To get to that high of a top speed, you're going to have to re-gear it... to get 50, you'll probably want a 18t clutch bell and a 35t spur. (I think that will get ya about 54mph... but I'm not sure... ) With a TM323 and that gearing, you might have issues with power... since it is a smaller displacement, it does not have the torque that some of the larger (.26+) have... I don't know... I'd be interested to see how that works.

I have the Pico .26 on my revo and it is almost too much motor for the truck. I had to adjust my slipper out and ritchen my mixture up to keep it from just flipping over. And a tank of gas only lasts maybe 8 minutes depending on driving style. But it sure is fun!!!!!!

The TM323 is a great engine and for the price you'll be hard pressed finding a better package.
I've been running this engine for 6 months for racing and bashing and find it provides more than enough power/speed for both.
