Default is it possible to repaint the body?

My stock revo body is still in good shape and I like the body style more than any others that are available. Is there any way to strip the paint from the inside so I can repaint it? Should I just dish out the 20 bucks for a new clear body?

Trying to strip paint usually results in the body clouding up and looking very sloppy. Just get a new body. if you painted your own body with a water based paint, like faskolor, you can soak the body in water for a couple days, and the paint will peel off. A stock revo body uses some sort of printing method though. If you get a pro-line crowd pleazer 2.0 it lasts a lot longer than a stock revo body, and is a lot more durable.

Dish out the 20 bucks, by the time you let it soak and realize that not all the paint is coming off you could be done with the new one.....GW

ORIGINAL: Drift master

paint the out side is what i would do
it would give an ugly looking matte finish, and it would also chip off if you hit anything.

Get a new body. Way, way easier in the end. The ProLine CrowdPleaser is very similar in styling to the stock truck and is tougher too. Also, if you just really like the stock body style I think (but am not 100% sure) that my lhs sells them in clear too.
