anyone use the coleman "cool heat" soldering gun
i got one as a gift a couple of months ago. well i flipped the revo on its lid and slid for about 15 feet and it cut the antennea wire in two. I butt connected it back together and it works perfect but is a little redneck so i thought i would solder it but the tool seems to not be working, any thoughts?

I just used one of those to make a head/tail light set. The thing with this tool is you have to make sure that you are making good contact with both sides of the tip - you know it's kinda split in the middle - you have to bridge the wire you working on with those two points. I found it a great tool and some of the easiest, neatest solder joints I've ever done.
