RE: spur gear help
The 72 tooth would give you more bottom end. The 70 tooth will give you more top speed.
The cb would be the other way. The more teeth you add to the cb the slower the acceleration but the faster the overall top speed. It's always going to be a give and take thing with gearing. You either gain bottom end and loose top end or you loose bottom end and gain top end.
But if you want to do wheelies then a 72 tooth spur will be the way to go.

RE: spur gear help
I've got a 72 spur with a 20 bell and it pops whellies all the time once it get warmed up. I'm thinking of putting my 22 bell on there but I might do that since the engine out. I ended up stripping out the plastic threads on the carburetor after some bashing so I'm waiting on a new housing now.

Remember that 1 tooth on the cb is about the same as 2 teeth on the spur. Another words if you add 2 teeth to the cb thats like taking away 4 teeth on the spur. Now it's not exactly the same ratio but basically the same. If you go that way you prolly wont ba able to do wheelies after that. I just wanted to through that in there just so you know that.
