Well there goes $90 for winter!
Ok well i love winter, and thats simply cause its the best time of the year to do anything. But i have ben thinking, winter is really hard on engines, so i am going ot rebiuld a trx 2.5 and use that for winter instead of my sirio 23. Cuase if something does happen and i blow it up or some kind of michanical error it will be $57 down the drain instead of $260.
Other then buying a rebiult kit i also bought a new front diferential set up, aluminum diff cup, new axels, new boots, and rpm front and rear bumpers.
I was just wondering if any one else runs they'r racing mills over winter? O and what is the stock diff weight in the front diff? I know i have 2x as thick in the rear but thats way to muc hfor the front since you need to be able to stear so any help on that part is greatly apreaciated! Looks like i'll get to brake my engine in on fryday and bash all weekend, i'll get soem pics and maybe eaven a video of me playin in fluffy stuff, and if any one is wondering, yes it already snowed about 1-2 inches but it should snow tonight and later tomarrow

I run all winter long every year. There's no such thing as snow down here in the winter. It was 88 degrees yesterday. From the factory, both the differentials are filled with SAE 30,000W viscosity
silicone oil.
silicone oil.

I used black plsti kote and i cover all my servo wires with high striength eletricle tape. I'll get a pic of the water proofing i did this year, its pritty sweet. ANd i am working on relocating the air intake, by using simple copperpieing and then later i'll make some aluminum ones and maybe sell them for $10 or something. All i can say is that it will be more closser to ware the whole in the windshild should be but in winter it is not needed, so this way it is up higher and there is less chance of it getting wet. There will be a ofna 3 stage filter on the end with a shroud to help keep mositure away. It should be cool, and it will be fun to make.

I found the wheel extensions I was looking for
If anyone is interested you can get them at [link=http://rbinnovations.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/92]RB Innovations[/link]
I plan on putting paddles in the rear and having the ski's in the front. Should look sick!
