help plz.
hey guys i know this is off topic but mabe some 1 will know, my step dad, who lives about 1000 miles away has a warhead and cant get it to tune . or run right, ne suggestions ??

This is NOT a smart alec answer.
Tell him to sell it and get a Revo, T-Maxx, Savage, anything else. Just get out from under the Warhead.
Go to the main MT page and read the "Does anyone own a Warhead" and you'll see why I say this.
If he wants to keep it though that will be the best place to get an answer.

it would also be alot easier if you tell him to take it to a hobby shop close to him or find someone in his area to give him a hand, its really difficult to give advise over the web on things like nitro engines

There's a big difference between being a quitter and realising that he got a poorly designed and built truck.
As for other things to try.......
Refer him to this fourm, particularly the "Anybody own a Warhead" thread. There is lots of Warhead experence there.
Call Duratrax customer service.
Call Thunder Tiger customer service.
Check around (hobby stores, tracks, etc) for local clubs/owners of nitro rc's and Warheads.
As for specific suggestions, well, "cant get it to tune . or run right" is pretty darn vauge and hard to give helpful suggestions for.
I still firmly believe that he'd be FAR better off with a T-Maxx, a Revo, a Savage, an MGT......something with a proven design and tons of support.
