Default Futuba Revo Servos

I want to change my steering servos to a single steering setup. Also I want to change out my throttle, and my shifting servo. I want to use Futuba products not anything else. What do you all suggest for my Servos?

I would like to have them to be digital. Is the S3003 digital, and what is the differance in the bulk and standard one? Also it seems to me that this is a downgrade from the stock one.

Try the futaba S9351 for steering. $109 on tower as seen [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDTB2&P=ML]here.[/link] it's fast and strong. Plenty strong enough for a MT. For throttle, check [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCTS2&P=7]this[/link] one out. YOu won't be disappointed.

Does the S9351 have metal gears, and if it does not, why? Also what does it mean that it has a J connector installed?

I am not good with the electronic part of RC. I am a mechanical person. If the Revos were electric mine would go about 1 MPH. Since it is gas it fast.

How would we know why they didn't use metal gears in the server they made?

Ok, I am going to get them.

Should I change out my shifter servo?

you should throw away your shifter servo and throw away your reverse gears as well as the opti drive. Just my opinion, but it will take off some weight and since you are going single servo, i gather that you will be racing. Reverse isn't allowed in races.

I already took out my optidrive, but I still have reverse. Yeah, I guess I am going to have to take it out then to race.
