threadlock on the servo screw

threadlock on the servo screw
the screw that held my servo horn onto my hitech 5997 servo somehow fell off can i put a little bit of thred lock onto the threads, or will that cause damage to the gears inside

does it screw into plastic... if so then do NOT use thread lock... try super glue if needed, but have fun getting it back off...
thread lock will melt the plastic....

if it is plastic geared, try some rc56 or pacer canopy glue. it's for planes, but works as a plastic thread locker. if it is metal geared, thread lock should'nt hurt.
