I have the fantom aswell, yes its steel and its heavier for sure. But, with the steel version there is so much more benefit to using it as opposed to say alum or CF. Its just not lighter though. I used mine with the PICCO modded 26 and it was crazy fast with excellent torque.

But are you bashing or racing your revo...?

You would notice total difference in performance and the sounds alone is awsome...sounds pretty tough. The sonic back pressure is so much better of course, it gives you a better tuning window as well, furthermore, it gives you a much crisper and sharper response on the throttle when its tunes right. As you know though you'll have to re-tune your beast after you wrench it on. At the end of the day though, I thought that the small weight gain was worth the added power and response. But if your bashing......there is nothing to hold you back, I would get it.

Also, factor in the Trinity pipe. Great sound and performance.

If you do...get the nickel plated version...looks MUCH better than the natural version.

where can you get the Fantom pipe. Used both THS and Trinity. I hate the trinity, the sound is very annoying. the THS is great, and was great on my T-maxx too

The Fantom has a very different sound altogether...its very meaty and tough without that horrible twang twang sound you get with alot of other pipes.

Here is the link: http://h1071118.hobbyshopnow.com/pro...p?prod=CLN1040

You can get them a little cheaper here and there if you look around and do a bit of web-walking...
