what next?
ok i just blew about $200 on getting stuff for my revo. I bought a wing kit, FOC, rpm all round, re did my suspension, converted to single steering servo. (i think thats all). well i decided to sell some of my stuff to be able to afford more hopups bu want my money to be well spent. I could probably raise about $250, what should i get? im not really looking for a new motor right now and am not looking for anything that will break easy because im a basher.
i am open to suggestions...

RE: what next?
Maybe a roll cage, or a new set of rims and tires. Maybe some threaded shock's, or a sway bar kit if they make one, I dont know if they make them though. Just simple things like that, but thats just what I would do.

RE: what next?
Sway bars...for off-road bashing???????
Too each his own I guess, but I wouldn't waste my money on those for off-road.
Like has aready been said, REVO comes with threaded shocks......
Radio up grade, single servo, or just some spares and fuel....have fun dude.

RE: what next?
Or a custom body
For bashing?!?!?! I say roll cage all the way. Ge the RC Solutions one. I went to the IHobbyExpo and they showed me how a grown adult can stand on the roll cage without it breaking or bending. I say it's really worth it. I'd get one if I had the money.

i suggest you dont mod anything until it breaks.

RE: what next?
Get a new radio, new throttle servo, and some SPI Racing Wheels. They make some sutable for bashers and are a hell of alot stronger the stock. Then get soem nice tires.

RE: what next?
Well, you got a wing....so I wouldnt bother with a roll cage....seems to work well as one, usless you are looking at one for the roll back over factor some promote. I dont want the added weight, I like not beeing top heavy. Also FOC on a basher? Your gonna miss reverse, I do.... and have the tranny sitting in a plastic bowl as we speak getting ready to add the stock gears back. I'd save the money and replace what breaks. Im sure you'll bend a pushrod or two, then replace with some nice aluminum. New tires, if your still running stockers and want more grip in dirt and what-not. My stockers toss roster-tails in light packed dirt and love anything I toss at them, even do decent finding grip on rock.
I think that has alot to do with balance though, I spend alot of time with my suspention and have it tuned perfect for what I use the truck for... plus I noticed a little toe-in on the rear wheels seem to let the tire eat a little more. Mind you when I say a little, I mean you cant visually see it, but if you stick a flat edge from front to back there is a small gap up front on the rears.
I am big into 4x4's and have used what that has taught me on my Revo. Fun little truck and a hell of alot easier and less expensive then the real thing. I just wish I could figure out a way to take it in some nasty mud without killing my servo's

RE: what next?
hah, this thing cost less than either of my revo's, without the winch, of course! but then, the winch was less expensive than my first revo with all its mods!

RE: what next?
well you see i did think about upgrading the pushrods and turnbuckles, but wouldnt the stock steel ones be stronger? i dont really car about weight.
Im looking at the resonator i think i might buy that. As for tyres how about the proline MOAB ones?
oh and as for the FOC, my clutch servo fried a while back and i never really used reverse so i just thought to heck with it. Should i get an engine? lol its all about the money.
thanks for you suggestions so far..

RE: what next?
yeah im sure, when i shift on the tx, the servo moves very sluggish and sometimes not at all. Ok seeing as i have the single servo setup im going to get the Hitec Aggressor SRX which comes withe a 645mg which should be ok for my throttle. One question is the CRX really much better for my situation? its a little bit more money. As for wheels i like the wabash ones but what tyres would go with this that are reasonably good on all surfaces or can anyone suggest a better alternative. Thatnks
