I finally got most of the parts i need to get my maxx running. It's a long story which began with a melted spur gear. But yeah i had the whole rear ripped apart and now its mostly back together. I just need a few screws and a hump pack. I'm waiting for my buddy to be back home so i can paint my body with his airbrush. I'm also waiting for my traxxas blue tuned pipe to come in the mail. Here are some pics of my body and truck after i got most of the parts. Tell me what you think of my new body!

NIIIIICCCEE ! Dude that is a nice looking truck i really like the wheels and tires and the overall lowness of the truck. I just recently bought a buch of parts for my maxx and now im in the process of putting them back on (i got a new flm chassis, integy bulks, motor saver air filter, rpm arms, foc, integy front rear and center skids, road rage tires w/ wheels, and soon im going to get the new traxxas cvds on towerhobbies). Sweet truck.

no not yet
im waiting for harrow (my buddy) to come home and then i can paint. It'll be a while. Maybe i might go to my lhs and use their airbrush kit.

it really isn't as nice as yours. I love your truck dude. I personally think my trucks a screw up. I just don't have enough money to get all the stuff you guys do. To finish my truck (in upgrades) i want:
-rpm arms 40.00
-aluminum bulks 60.00
-tekno wing mount 30.00
-pro-line wing 15.00
-sirio .18 100.00
-spektrum dx2.0 300.00
-big bore shocks 40.00
-integy springs 8.00
-aluminum chassis braces 20.00

that all together is 613.00
I guess i wont get a dx2 then lol.

Ive accumulated my parts over the years so its not like im rich or anything. All of my money has went into this truck and my Savage 25.[8D]

The dx2 is only 150-180.

lol it'll take me about 2 months i guess. Maybe a little less this summer.
Last summer the guy that owns a proshop down at the golf course about 2 minutes from my house let me work for him. I made 502
not bad for a 13 year old ehh. Well since i spent a fortune at this hobby shop the guy offered me ajob in the summer too So i need to make sure my work keeps up so my parents let me do this job in the summer. But damn this'll be fun!
