Piece of...... those filters are manufactured for the automotive industry. They are NOT designed to be subjected to nitro/alcohol based fuels, they are not designed to be cleaned....so if the glue used to hold them together doesn't disintegrate, and ruin your engine by allowing it to gulp in large quantities of dirt, then you can plan on replacing it when it becomes oil and dirt fowled, and you can't clean it....

Sales "hype" to separate a fool and his money....

Looks good on shelf queens tho!

There is always gonna be someone out there, looking for something better, and you gotta look at it all. BUT don't jump on the band wagon till you think it over from all angles....heck I won't put a Fram filter on any of my 1:1 vehicles....not for the last 4 years, and I once SWORE by them. But now being manufactured over seas, and having seen the end results of severral that came apart in some freinds engines......I won't buy anything FRAM, for any use......

No you're not a fool, that is an OLD saying......but you are LEARNING.

Now that must of sucked. Having a filter fall apart in your engine. Was there any engine damage?

That looks nice however like beelze said, those kind of filters unfortunately dont improve performance that much as they are mainly for shelf queens.

Supposedly that FRAM is made for a RC Vehicle. 20 Microns filtering. Thats SMALL. And it is cleanable. Just brush it off with something like a toothbrush..

Anybody see those exhausts they make? There pretty interesting.

Looks like one of those mini K&N filters, I wouldn't put one on my truck.

As beelz said I wouldnt jump on the band wagon you know more about them. Personally the air filters we use are perfectly fine and dont trust any other form of air filter. The filters that we use are proven to work and work very well as long as you keep air filter oil on them. If you want to buy them thats fine, but I do suggest putting them on a mill that you no longer care for.
