Default glo plug doesnt fit on picco .26 maxx glo plug..

hey guys i just put a picco .26 maxx in my 3.3 revo the other day and my glo plug wire for my ez-start will not fit on the ofna plug thats in there. the stem of the top of the plug is too small for the glo plug wire, is there anything i can do to make this work so i dont have to get a glo igniter?

You could crimp the glow plug wire from the EZ start so that it's inner diameter is a bit smaller. The other thing to look at is what are your spare plugs and what will you use for spares in the long run? I'd match it up to those instead of the one Ofna plug you've got for the picco. BTW - I run the HD Traxxas plug for the 3.3 and McCoy Plugs with no problems in my picco...

Just take the glow plug out of your other engine, and use it.

Just take the glow plug out of your other engine, and use it.
Sometimes that doesnt always work.

As said I would look ahead to what plugs you are going to be using, instead of the plug that is currently in the engine itself. As said you can crimp the end of the glow plug wire but look ahead and see what youy will use and see how they fit the glow plug wire itself.

I use the same plugs in both my TRX15 and my Picco. Works just fine and dandy for me. I use the OS # 8 for both.

I tossed the whole Easy Start and got a Roto Start long ago, but that one guys suggestion of the alligator clip is the best setup for the Easy Start. I got tired of lookin for the hemostats just to deal with that silly glow connector. I went to an alligator clip as well back then, and even made a few up for my friends. Very nice the way the jaws lock into the groove on the plugs center pin.

I have a picco .26 T-Maxx. I scrapped the glowplug wire a long time ago, but I am still using the EZstart. I got a Tiger Drive when I got my Picco, but it won't work on the stock Maxx chassis, the Tiger drive hits the shock tower. I'm considering a LWB chassis to remedy that. Isn't it funny how the $$$$ we spend on these trucks seems to snowball?

I don't know what a Tiger Drive is, and im sure I don't need one, but I decided a long time ago, that I was not going to slam tons of cash into my Revo. It is still totally stock except for the Picco and the Roto Start. Im sorry I got the Picco now, because of the wear on the truck and the fuel consumption, but the Roto Start has been wonderful. After 8 or 10 Easy Start motors, I had to do something different.
