Default air filter oil

What can I use for air filter oil or should I use the traxxas brand? The guy at my local Hobby shop suggested wd-40 but I have also heard not to use it!! What should I use?
Any Help? []

The standard traxxas stuff is good, that's what I use and really like, it seems to be kinda sticky, so it will really get all the small dust particles. I also have a bottle of air filter oil, the brand doesn't really matter. As for WD-40 I've never used it, and I probably wouldn't recommend it either. Wd-40 would be better to use as an after-run oil, not air filter oil.

Air filter oil or 3 in 1 oil.

I don't think WD-40 is thick enough.

You can use castor oil, its think enough to catch those fine dust particles and is great for increasing you engine life!! Can be had at a pharmacy............

I use something like I use on full size offroad foam filters [link=https://www.amsoil.com/storefront/afo.aspx]clicky[/link]

Pretty cheap and designed to be used as foam filter oil.
