RE: Revo sidepipe
find a side manifold and use a resinator, or the trinity, but i think the resenator will work better, i also have that question, is there any disadvantages besides the exhaust gettin all over the left rear a-arm??

I'm bent my header landing on the rear of the truck--that's why I've switched. It also allows you to use a bigger pipe, which for me, gives a little more bottom end. But, I hate getting the exhaust all over the back wheel.

RE: Revo sidepipe
You do get unburnt fuel on the rear left wheel on a revo, but a side pipe is the way to go IMO. I use the JP-3 and I love it. The problems with rear mounted exhaust is that you bend/break headers on a nominal crash. With a side pipe, you'd have to wrap your truck around something to get at that pipe nestled between the wheels. Also with a rear mounted pipe, you have size limitations, which also limits the performance of a tuned pipe.

RE: Revo sidepipe
advantages
1 more pies to tune to any engines needs.
2 you can tune your shocks easyer
3 easyer to get to to prime the engine
4 puts more weight on the front of the truck for better stearing and balence
5 when you have a wing and you have to work on the rear of your truck and have a stock exhaust, you allways have to take it off.
Disadvantages
1 costs more money, ruffly $30 more in all over a normal pipe
2 greasy tire
3 have ot cut radio boxes or find some other way to mount it.
Jp-1 pipe
ment for low end power gains
Jp-2 pipe
ment for high end power gains
Jp-3
ment for midrainge power gains
I would recoment any of those pipes, and get hte hard coated ones for durability

RE: Revo sidepipe
There are several ways to do it and all are easy. All i did was drill a hole in the radio box and stick the exhaust hanger mount in. I glued it in place, cut a hole in my body for the mount to slide through, then i just bolted the header up to the engine and then just hooked up the exhaust to the hanger and i was done.
