I think it would look cool and maybe or maybe not perform better. I not really sure how I will get some tubing to there and have it really secure, so I don't have dirt getting in.

I think thats just asking for trouble..Whats happens when you wreck and the filter gets ripped off?? If you really like that look, just get an extra one and add it to the hood, but dont make it functional.

Where im at I have a lot of gravel and there is a lot of dust and i thought if i could get it ahead of the dust and debris coming from the tires it would be much more fun.

its a waste of time.. ive seen it done.. and its more trouble than its worth..
IF your truly worried about dust get a 2 stage filter.. foam filter with a prefilter sock.. much better and safe to no end.. oil em up and dont worry

Alright sounds like a great plan since I've been wanting a Ofna 2-stage anyway. Will this be all I need?

There are two types of OFNA filter I think the Jammin looks better??

You would be better off cutting a hole in your windshield to gain performance and cooling benefits. Doing the things your talking about is only asking for trouble.

Yeah it's pretty much nonsense having your filter extended outside of your body... You wont grab any force feed air induction like that. The engine breaths just fine with a 1/8th 2 stage filter (unless of course you wrap your body in a ziplock bag, lol). I also think an engine having to suck air through a longer tube requires a slight increase in work....
