sealing ?
i have a 3.3 on the way.i was wondering is taking apart a new 3.3 to seal it worth it.i read the old threads on sealing,but is it that common of a problem of new motors.

if you have extra time, it would be a smart idea to seal it up. i just seal my engine so that when i have a problem, i know its not an air leak.
you can use RTV for sealing it up (i used the blue one but many recommend the copper). make sure you seal up the backplate, carb. base,
around the dust boot, HSN parts, etc... if your lucky you wont have an air leak at the front bearing. if you do, buy a new one.

Even new motors leak air. It's a good idea IMO to check it next time you tear your truck down for cleaning.
