Default Fixed my Nitro motor problem!

Not sure if anyone read my thread about the Picco 26 motor problems. It was a nightmare. So finally I got it fixed.

Shes only a few days old and needs more work, but its a good start. It pulls wheelies in forward and reverse with ease. Only runs for about 6 min. on these old school batteries, but I'm working on that problem. Yes, its brushless.

is that the stock revo tranny? If so, how do you apply brakes?

Yup that is the stock tranny. I removed first gear and 'locked' second gear. So whatever way that tranny spins the wheels do the same. Then the braking is just from the motor brake.

This was actually a kit I got off a guy, it came with the motor mount, the locker, a spur, gear adapter and some not so decent battery mounts. I actually met the guy off here and bought his kit. Good guy and a good kit.

That video Cujo posted is sweet! That 8XL motor thats in it is about what my motor is , but mine is a Neu and they run cooler and are more efficient. Also that thing is on 5s lipos, thats outta hand fast. I'm gonna be running 4s. like I was saying its still needs work I'm gonna widen the gear ratio its only at 23 mph right now and has a wheelie problem, I'll get it geared to a top speed of 30-32mph... which don't sound like much to me.. the stock nitro revo is like 40mph? ... but I think that will be fairly fast.
