yes 30 is way too light for bashing...i use 60 wt with silver springs in back and white in front...works quite well...not sure for racing tho

i'm running 60 front and back with the blue and silver long travel springs and its o thin (for the jumps i do anyway), depends how much air you lik to get bashing

well it is 30 stock, it handles just fine for me but i decided to go up to35wt seeing as i want to get just a little more cushioning on some landings but if it aint broke dont fix it. but i am running heavy springs on it so yeah.
