dude a little suggestion. try to watermark your stuff so people dont steal it and be careful about what you share. not to sound like a parent (cuz im not) but just letting you know. also, great drawing and design. the design itself doesnt remind me of foose but the sketch defiantly is almost his quality level. how long did it take you to learn 3d modeling and where can i learn. i design cars in my free time and want to make them 3d. i already have 3dsmax. my apologies for going off topic. maybe pm me so this doesn't continue being really off topic.

That drawing is incredible, if you make that body for the T-Maxx 2.5 I will buy it from you. I love the design, you have some real talent! I wish I could do that.

But Seriously I will buy a body like that if you make and paint it for me!
I would pay like 50 bucks for that, really nice work!

yeah youre right,,thanks for the advice Im gonna find how to watermark them.
well I learned in college and with some friends it took me like a year but because I had no teacher, then I teached one of my friends and he lerned only in two months, ask in colleges for 3d classes I think they should accept nonstudents but with a bit higher price than the students, ask in the engineer faculty or the arquitect and design ones

Easy Photo Watermark Maker is what I use on all my photography stuff. Works well because you can do a batch of photos instead of just one. Don't know if you need to do more than a few though.

Looks nice, but it looks like there is undercut. How do you plan on getting the mold out of the finished product?

I'll give you $25 or more if you send me one of those when you finish it. You could always cut the mold[X(] to get it out or make some crazy 2 piece mold. Please let me know when you make a few. Also, for the picture purposes, try a different set of rims, at least more rubber on them. No baja runner runs on low profile tires. If you like it though it still looks good. Just saying if your making the air intakes big because its hot, seems like your going for futuristic realism. Good luck man.

yeah I had the same question and the design came up in a car design contest so it wasnt planed for the rc trucks
so I plan to slice the mold plug in two halfs, one of the front and another one of the back and drill some vacuum ducts for the air intake and the lights so when the product is finished I take the half back first so the front half is pushed back and then pulled down out of the product also use the flexibility of the plastic to release it..its only a theory hope it works
some other little undercut details like the back ligths are going to be flat and represented by adhesive stamps

hahaha thanks I will have you in mind and yeah the actual runners use bigger profile tires and not semihemispheric tires but I made that on the contest so it looks kinda futuristic hehe

Cool man. Keep making new baja runners. There is a serious lack of them in the rc market, considering how many people race their trucks, it would be nice to see some diverse bodies (other than the 8000 versions of the crowd pleazer).

That would work, the only problem would be if your vacuum table pulls hard enough you may end up with a line in the seam. It will be a pain to get the mold aligned exactly, but you may be able to build a jig to set the mold in on the vacuum table which would help.

or you could make the seam where there will be an indent anyway.

yes I was thinking in doing the cut where the lines of the body go like the doors or somehow like that or simply seal it with something like clay
