tmaxx 2.5 low speed carb setting
I know that the high speed setting is 3.5 turns out to start off when setting, but can someone tell me where a good starting point is on the low speed setting? I recently replaced the carb on my tmaxx and was curious. I realize that it's supposed to come from the factory with the "correct" settings to begin tuning with, but I just want to know s good starting point is. I keep coming up with just high speed settings when I do a search, so any thoughts would be helpful.
For some reason I can't keep the truck running through a whole tank of gas. There's smoke and a little gas coming from the exhaust at all times, but when I stop the truck dies sometimes... it just cuts off.. no revving up or anything, and then when I try to crank it up again, it acts like it flooded, so this is why I'm asking about the low speed setting. The gas lines are brand new as well, so it shouldn't have a hole or anything. The gas lid is tight.... is it just this hard to tune the dang thing?
