Default MAXX TRANNY PROBLEMS

i got my T-maxx 3.3 last september and pretty much been able to fix all the problems ive had for it but this one has me stumped........about 3 weeks ago i took the maxx out on a little road trip with my friends and it preformed flawlessly had no problems ............then i pulled it out to get my daily fix and the tranny dosent seem like it was shifting at all then i took a closer look and it was shifting WAY WAY to soon so i tryed adjusting the shift screw in the tranny and its still being a pain in the ass and my roll cage isent helping anything whatsoever i was just wondering is the screw in the tranny VERRY sensitive or am i just looking ad a bad gear or a loose slipper.........your expereince would be greatly appreatiated

adjust the screw in the tranny, for the 2 speed that is...your slipper should be okay unless you've messed with it (tighten all the way down then back off 1/2 turn)
