Revo Tires

Hey guys i'm looking to start racing my revo 2.5r and was wondering what size rim and tire would be better, a 40 series tire and rim or a truggy tire and rim.

The guys at our track run neither. They run MTR bowties on standard MT rims with 17mm adapters
