Mach .28 in a Revo?
Hi guys,
has anyone put a Dynamite Mach .28 in a Revo... or T-maxx I guess? If you have, please post, I could use your help! First off, how does it hold a tune? Secondly, is it powerful? How does the truck handle it? Thirdly, what pipe and gearing are you using?
That's enough questions for now. Thanks in advance.

RE: Mach .28 in a Revo?
I put a Mach .26 in my Savage (also have one in my LST) and that's a nice engine that is reliable and holds a tune well. I know it's not the .28 but, based on my experence with the .26's, I would not hesitate to try a .28.
Don't know much about the rest of your questions, sorry

RE: Mach .28 in a Revo?
28 is more power, 26 I think the only difference in the two is the P/S.
I had the 28 in my revo awesome engine if you gear it like 18/36 with some response tires it will fly. I used the new era kit to put mine in because I wanted to keep the pull start all the other kits you will need a starter box. They are awesome engines for the price I hear the mach 427 is way better but I never had it. I got atleast 10 gallons before mine started to get weak and now I have one in my savage

RE: Mach .28 in a Revo?
I used the stock pipe off a hyper 7 because of the rubber elbow gave me some more play when mounting it. As for gearing it varied as to what I wanted to do that day for the most part I ran 15/36 or 18/36 if I wanted to tear the tires off the rims I ran 16/40
