Default engine problem

i just started my car after a week of it being down cause of the spur gear and before that the motor was not to right but now i got all the info to tune it right and i started it up and it ran great for a minute or 2
then when i gave it half throttle the motor sounded like it was trying to cut out and then 2 minutes later it cut out and the motor is really hot

what can i do to make it run right

and i hope this is all the info needed

Probably just not tuned right.
Reset the needles to factory and retune it. If the problems persist then it's probably time to start hunting for air leaks.
But try retuning first.
