need help tuning os 18 tm
hi just put a 18 os tm in my revojust cant seem toget it right runs pretty good for a little while then as igive it wot is hasflat spots it just wont go it still idles but doesnt do anything for a few seconds then goes again very annoying , the lsnseems ok and the hsn which ever way i go it doesnt matter ive richened it and leaned it out doesnt seem to help the os has only 5 tanks thru it not includingbreakin .does anybodyknow what the factory settings are any help onthis wouldbe appreciated

I can't remember the stock settings of the tm but I knoew they should have it listed up on their website. As for tuning here are some vids on how. I know its not the same truck but same concept.

I believe the stock settings are 4 3/4 out for the HSN and 4 out for the LSN. I wrote it down before I ran the motor, but I'm at work right now.

*High Speed Needle (Needle Valve) 2-1/2 turns out from closed
*Mid Range Needle (Mixture Control Valve) Screw head is exactly 1/2 turn in from flush with the carb body (pg 22 of manual)
*Low Speed Needle (Metering Needle) Screw head flush with ball link body (pg 22 of manual)
*Mid Range Needle (Mixture Control Valve) Screw head is exactly 1/2 turn in from flush with the carb body (pg 22 of manual)

Reset the needles to factory and retune per those videos. They're pretty good.
You're original problem sounded like an LSN issue to me BUT the only way to get an accurate tune is to reset and retune.
