RE: considering selling...
IF you were selling it in the UK and IF I didnt already have one I'd pay £200 for it, $400.
Thats based on my perspective and on the UK market, which may or may not be even remotely close to the US 'used' values.
Good luck with it tho

RE: considering selling...
used stock would be half retail usually so used modded should be around 75% retail so about $350 (hard to figure out because the revo is discontinued replaced by revo 3.3)

I would say between 300 and 350 on ebay. It seems like any Revo 2.5 or 3.3 that has an aftermarket motor goes for that much regardless of what other mods it has.

RE: considering selling...
thats my other thought...parting it out...but if i did that would i have to completely take it apart and sell everything individually? and do u think i would make more if i parted it out? i didnt really want to but i wanted alot more than 300-350 for it.

RE: considering selling...
I'd only part out, stuff that you have duplicates of, tires and wheels, bodies, radios, etc, but you should sell the car as a whole, so that it has everything needed to run...

You'd be better off parting the truck out because, in the end, you'll end up with more money. If you really want the most money, part it out and get your money back. Not all of it, but more than you would've gotten selling as a whole.

If you have stock parts still, I'd part it out and sell the rest as a roller or pick up a dirt cheap 3.3 off ebay and sell it as a stocker. It's always tough when you get out of a "custom" hobby and try to get some of your investment back. I had 15k into my race bike I was building up and only managed to recoup 7k when I closed down shop

Used RC's don't bring all that much. That's just the sad truth. Figure on getting about 1/2 what you have invested. Parting out may get you more $$$ but it's also a lot more hassell.
Personally, when I buy a used rc I am pretty picky about the truck and the price or both. Just to be blunt about it, very few people maintain an RC like I do and I simply do not trust that most people have repaired/modded them correctly. I never buy a used nitro RC unless the price is good enough to replace the motor and still have a good deal.
My last used rc purchase was an RC18b w/ the 8kv mamba system, a 3 cell lipo and the all aluminum upgrade kit. It also came with a lipo charger, an extra set of wheels/tires, the computer programing cable and all the stock parts including the mortor, esc and battery. Total I paid, just $200.

I think you should start out at $500 since thats what you want for it (maybe a little more) just incase you ever reduce it, you'll still have around the same amount of money you want to sell it for. Honestly parting it out might take longer but you will get more money that way. Thats what Icewindus and Broncobuster did when they sold there revos. They had a lot of money into them and when they sold individual parts they sold them for like $3-5 under the regular price.(most of the time)
Edit: If you end up parting it out sell all the gas with the mototr and pipe.
