Traxxas customer service is the best. i had a smalll darn leak in the plastic carb body and so i went to traxxas for help....sooo they sent me a new carb. i thought it was just gonna be only the plastic carb body but they sent me a whole new carb !!! ($40 value). so all ive gotta say is thanks traxxas (the LSN and HSN have some moving to do...but im nervous that i might make a leak cuz i dont wanna ruin another carb!)

Yeah traxxas customer service is great. When I first got my 3.3 when it came out it wasn't running right and they told me what the problem was but I accidentally over torqued a screw in the carb body and ruined the thread. I had a free of charge complete carb the next day... I didn't even have to pay shipping. Customer service is what wins me over anyday.

I have to say when chosing an RC company Coustmer Support should be one of the big things to help decide who wins your money. I have to say for all the things I don't like about them (plastic gears in the tranny and diffs, and short engine life) a new carb is nice. Hey, can I have the old carb, hope to see the engine working correctly, soooooooon, mini t

You may want to take the HSN and LSN all the way out and put some green slime on the threads. That way you can still tune them and prevent air leaks.

That or use some tephlon tape(a little less messy)

The O.S. carb works and its an 11k so the 3.3 must be the same.

Grease or lube is fine, but do not use Teflon tape in our carburetors! [&:]
