RE: buyin a revo
the LST2 is a great truck, but personally i like the revo, it is fairly easy to maintain, plenty of people with them so a lot of tech support for them and great parts and hop up parts availability making it a good beginner truck, you just have to be careful with the stock engine because it can twitchy to tune particularly if it isn't broken in properly.

The Revo is great for begginers and you get great support also.
It's a tough truck with enough power to satisfy the backyard basher or the weekend racer.
Either way, if you want to get into the hobby a revo is the way to go.

RE: buyin a revo
I have both an LST2 and Revo 3.3.
Buy either of them and you cant go wrong really.
THe LST2 is a better truck out the box (the extra price reflects this) with a very very nice radio as stock.
The Revo is way more supported and theres a lot of Revo owners out there with a lot of knowledge to help you if you get stuck. Nice little engine as stock but a can be a bit tricky to tune, if you go with the revo just be prepared to maybe do some minor upgrades.
Either way you'll have a great time, good luck.
