LIGHTNING WON'T START!!!
i named my revo lightning mcqueen since my last name is mcqueen. haha lol. no? ok well anyways my revo won't start. yesterday i had the engine out replacing a spur gear that melted. last night it was running good but needed to richen the lsn. but i was too lazy to do it then so i just stopped driving and was goin to do it today. so i brought it in and was goin to set the mesh since i was lazy yesterday and bolted the engine in and the mesh was too tight[:-] (i knew i wasn't goin to drive but a few minutes so i didn't care). but now it has a good mesh and everything is like it's supposed to be (i think). now it won't start. what can i do?

RE: LIGHTNING WON'T START!!!
ok i got it running but after about 5 mins i stopped but the engine was still running and it just reved really high and the truck went no where (i didn't touch the throttle trigger on my remote at all!!!). plus when i pick the truck up the wheels spin. how do i fix my problms?

RE: LIGHTNING WON'T START!!!
Both. High rev means the motor is pushing out some RPM's, may be not enough to turn the wheels with a load, but take the load off the wheels and they will spin. As long as the idle is high enough to engage the clutch, the wheels will spin.

1, you'll never learn anything taking the truck to the lhs.
2, you really cannot work of an old tune gone bad, especially when you cannot tune in the first place.
You'll be far better off to go ahead and learn to tune, otherwise I see more "It won't start" threads in your future.
