that has gotta be one of the sweetest looking maxxes i have ever seen. i total love the body on that thing. to bad it didn't have the fx4 off road decals on it. the stx is ford's bottom of the line trim but still very very nice truck.

Hey, that looks awesome and it looks totally scale man! Whered you get that body, I want to start a scale project for this winter, I want to use a 1:6 body but I havent found a decent truck body. My favorite body that Ive found is this, but Id rather have a pickup like you[8D]

Of course the only part I would be using from this is the body, I wish someone sold parts for these New Bright cars[&o][:@] It would be a shame to shell out $60 for the car and only use the body It looks really awesome for a scale sedan project though!

Hardcore racing billet aluminum wheels.

The chassis was extended almost 6 inches and the x-long wheelbase fits the 1/6 scale New bright body perfectly. I got the entire newbright (with working headlights, rollbar, side mirrors, etc) for 50 bucks. Just used the body and junked the rest. Used the stock rear posts and the pro-line tall posts up front. I still retain the EZ start plug in the bed of the truck. I am into boats and 1/5 scale gasoline cars. Have not touched nitro in a long time. I just thought I'd revive this tmaxx and give it a new life. It looks very scale when it's in motion.

Don't have a motor yet. I am not looking for much top end speed and will probably gear it low for some low end grunt. I considered using the 3.3 and keeping the ez- start, but am also considering a big block. It will spend more time on the shelf than anything else. It is set up for duel steering servos and I'm using a 3pk. The tires are from the MGT. There is so much space on the chassis, I am going to combine battery pack and receiver into one slightly larger custom made box to keep things looking clean.

The boats weigh like 40 pounds...might be a little tough for the tmaxx. I think one of my FG's will be up to the task (maybe).

Just the boat is over 40....then you add the trailer and the truck. It would be too much for a nitro truck. I think the gas FG could handle it.
