Default E-Maxx Drivetrain Questions

How well does the emaxx drivetrain standup in stock form(stock motors on 6 cell packs).

Are there any common weak points?

I've seen the Gorilla Maxx 1 speed conversion, does this make a big difference in durability?

The stock driveshafts (sliders) tend to twist and eventually break, but it will take a while if you're only using the stock Titans. The G1 SS transmission is basically 1/2 of the trans. It's just the gears and half that hold the 2nd gear gearset. It will lighten up your EMaxx and take a little bit of stress off the drivetrain. Great for racing, but otherwise, I wouldn't spend the money on it.

Thanks for the replies, are MIP CVD's the best upgrade?
Or are there better ones?
