I am in need of a .18 engine for my T-MAXX. What are some of the best? Which can accept the EZ start? Prices? Where to get it?

OS 18tm hands down. Bolts right in and EZstart bolts right on, too. Sounds like they are around $150 south of the border (if not cheaper), however, looks like they are being discontinued (Tower Hobbies...unless you want to go with a modded one).

I've got a Sirio .18TX in my T-maxx. Very nice engine, very high revving and holds a tune well. Bought mine for $80 shipped. Only thing is, its a very high RPM engine which means wheelies arent the most plentiful Its for the speed freeks like me[8D]

You can buy the .18TM for the revo and just use a header made for the t-maxx

WHY would they discontinue at popular motor with the reputation the .18 has...

They are being discontinued by Tower. That doesnt mean O.S. is discontinuing them. Yes a .21TM is coming soon, but the popularity of the .18TM will certanly keep parts avaliable for it. In otherwords I seriously doubt it will be hard to find a .18TM in the future.

isnt the os .18 tz the best os .18 u can get. hows the os .21 and lrp .18 in the maxx

i just got a os .18tm put in my tmaxx and it works with your easy start. im impressed with this motor. im also running a ths pipe.
