Default survo help...

so i have a new emaxx with dual steering survos. i was driving around and i hit a fire hydrant and broke the gears in the survos. i replaced all the gears that broke. now its not working. it still steers but its sounds like its slipping but i dont no what to do. any help at all would be good.

take it to a hobby shop and let the pros fix it. i would reccomend taking it to the one that you bought it at. they most likely will repair for free, you just buy the parts

That may seem like a good idea but you don't learn anything when the hobby shop fixes it. Plus you have to pay for labor and that itself will cost you more then replacing broken parts some of the time.

Check to see if you stripped the threads on the servo horns.(they connect to the servo nd turnbuckles. should be one screw to take them out.)

That would just be money down the tubes after he just replaced the gearing.
