Default Uh.. Oh.. Help!

I think I made a mistake... I haven't figured this stuff out.

I ordered the Maximizer 14mm hex beadlocks.. these wheels:
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXNWN8

and thought they went with these tires, the proline crimefighters:
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXLGF7

But the tires seem too big kinda. Do these things go together or did I make a mistake?

Help![]

Nope, those won't fit either. You need wheels that say they are specifically for 40 series tires. Maximizers are for Maxx size tires.

I'm just going to send them back to towerhobbies I think. I don't want 23mm's either because I really don't want the added weight. I'm still rolling all this around my head though.

I think I may just keep the tires, get wabashes, get adapters for 14mm, and paint them,
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXPTJ2&P=7

and forget about the whole bead lock thing. I really wanted bead locks though. But I don't want 5 lbs of wheels/tires adding to the weight of the truck.[sm=tongue_smile.gif]

Thanks for the link HILLFINGER! I have a big credit from tower hobbies I'm going to use. hehe

What I DID order that works is all new RPM bits, new Hummer H2 body, and some other stuff.

All EIGHT wheels I ordered are going back though lol

Your gonna need to get adapters for the wabash wheels. They come in 17mm or 23mm so its your choice on what mm hex's you want.

I've got those same wheels on my revo. Only thing is I've got zombie-maxx tires on them. I weight'd them before and they only weigh 326 grams. The stock wheels(2.5 revo) weight 261 grams. So there is a diffrence and unfortunatly it does show.[&o] Check out this thread to see diffrent tire and wheel combo's and how much each one weighs. [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_5800953/mpage_2/key_/tm.htm]The Tire and Rim Weight Thread.[/link] And another bonus pic of my truck with the wheels on.
