RCs without a pull starting system have an opening in the chassis that provides access to the flywheel. The RC is placed on top of a starter box that has an electric-powered spinning rubber disk sticking out of it that makes contact with the vehicle's flywheel and rotates it to start the engine. This is known as a bump start system because the flywheel is bumped against the disk in the starter box to get the engine started.

WOT = Wide Open Throttle

Yes i have that engine on my revo. When i bought mine i bought the turbo factory bump start version so i can't help you on the back plate. Its an awesome engine but make sure your drivetrain can handle the extra power. Happy Trails!

Nice truck...looks like it's a beast of an engine. One question, though...shouldn't you be looking at a pipe that's designed for a big block engine and not the stock pipe that's meant for the much smaller 3.3?

In no way did I want to stomp on Ricky's parade at all. Just trying to help a fellow RCer out. I would hope that someone would do the same for me. Like slayer said, get yourself a propper tuned pipe for it and let that .28 exhale like it should.
