Default How Much Time Do You Spend Cleaning Your Truck?

I was just wondering how much time people spend cleaning thier trucks. I clean my Revo after every outing with it. I use a combination of compressed air and Nitro cleaner. I also perform a little fastener integrity on my truck to keep from losing screws and stuff since I lost some screws out of my Tekno wing mount.
I am not sure how long I spend cleaning, doing the after run, and checking screws but I would say about 1 to 1 1/2 hours after each run. I am wondering if its kinda excessive.

I rarely do a big cleaning on my stuff since I am always using it....When I do its usually just pull the electronics and hit it with some simple green and water and an air compressor...with an after coat of wd-40.

1 hr is alot. All I do is after run procedures to keep the engine nice. I also use an air compressor to blow off any loose dirt or grass on the truck. But thats about it. There is no point to tearing down a truck and cleaning it every run!!

I just clean the air filter regularly, and give all the pivots a small shot of lube every few runs. When something breaks or I have to disassemble anything for any reason, I'll clean around the area I'm working on. I've never cleaned the entire truck in one sitting.

5 minutes, tops. I love Nitroblast! [8D]

It gets kind of expensive for how often I run my trucks, though... []

Well it depends on what I'm doing and how dirty my car is.

I will spend anywhere from 15mins to 2hours (the 2Hours is more of maintenance then cleaning)

Like some of the others have said; it really depends on how dirty the truck is. usually I will just give it a quick "blow-off" with some compressed air. Usually the only time I will do a thorough cleaning is if i have to completely tear apart a major component(s); then I will go ahead and give it a decent cleaning.

I usually do the following and I think it's way too much time [:@]

5-10 mins:
- Clean the truck with different brushes
- After run procedure

1h 45mins:
- Remove all electronics
- Clean the truck in the shower (protecting the air filter and the EZ-motor)
- Dry it with a hair dryer
- Apply WD-40
- Clean the air filter
- Put the electronics back

I don't have an air compressor nor a nitro cleaner.

By the way, what kind of Nitro cleaner would you recommend? Any specific brands?
