I just want to share some pics of my Nitro Stampede with you guys.

You should try and drop in like a RB 523 or a .26 Max engine into that! That would be so sick!

For me not really liking stampedes yours in pretty nice! I like how you don't run the pro .15 engine!

Thanks. There is a couple people on the traxxas fourms who put a 3.3 in a NStampede. For me, the 2.5 is plenty. I can bearely go half throttle without it flipping onto it's lid. It is really fun to run some sand. 2.5R + 2 wheel drive nitro Stampede + some sandy asphalt=donuts and burnouts like there's not tomorrow!

i've been thinking about doing that, i have a nitro ped a tmaxx and just got a revo2.5, which im getting another rb engine for, and that'll free up the 2.5 for a project lol

what did you have to do to make the 2.5 fit?

I used a nitro rusty 2.5 header and pipe and carb linkages(and EZ-start 2 if you want it). Everything else bolts right up. Traxxas also makes a convertion kit for $25 which includes the header and linkages. Only thing I changed was the gearing. I changed the stock 18T clutch bell to a 20T. My gearing right now is 20/64. Stock is 18/66.
The only real problem I am having is the Masher 2Ks balloon really bad when I am going around 40- 50mph.
I am going to tape my next set.[8D]
