Default spur gear

so i've got an older t-maxx like the pro .15 but i've converted to a picco .26, foc, 4 1/8 scale shocks, truggy tires and revo shafts my problem is i put lower stall springs on my 3 shoe clutch and now it chips teeth off the stock plastic spur gears. So should i get a metal spur of what? I never had problems with an .18tm.

How thick are the springs? They shouldn't hurt the spur gear like that. It might just be that your mesh is off. Are you running a slipper clutch?

.09 i think i think i may have gotten a small rock between the gears because it looks like the bell spun on the gear. I'm sure the mesh was right.
