How long will the Revo 3.3 car receiver battery last?
Well, I got my Revo 3.3 yesterday and broke it in today! Those are some pictures before I drove it. Tomorrow I'm actually gonna be able to use it for real. I had 5 tanks through it for the break in process. Did it the Traxxas way . start stop start stop start stop... But anyway I was wondering how long the receiver battery or whatever it is will last?

oh well the new revos actually have this cool new feature...u only have to charge it once. it should last forever. if not then you just charge it with the supplied power charger.

Its always a good idea to make sure you steering servos are not binding, this will drain any battery fast. Your steering linkage should move freely or without much effert, make it so all your servos links have the least resistance. Also make sure you have ball bearings in the steering linkage instead of plastic bushings. If it were me I'd buy an upgraded steering system if it meant for a much smoother movement, but you can always improve on what you have. If those conditions are met above you should be able to run for 3-5 hours non-stop.

Yeah, I know you were making a joke but he did ask a civil question. Maybe I do need to lighten up a bit actually
