my comment about maybe not being a good deal
had more to do with getting a used nitro
rather than weather or not you had the money
used nitros are iffy at best
and can be a nightmare for a nitro newb
if you've found someone who wants to unload a t-maxx for the equivalent of $125
then they are either undervaluing their truck
or
it's been beat to death
combine that with your mom being against you having nitro
and, imo, you don't have the best scenario
in any case, good luck & hope it works out for ya....
