Default 2.5 overheating?

I think I am overheating my REVO 2.5 after 5 minutes of running. The temp is around 250-270. I am running the Traxxas 20% nitro. The truck starts to bog at low rpm's, and when I shut it off , it wont start for 5 minutes, then runs fine? Does anyone have a suggestions?

250-270 is a little warm but not that bad. Sounds like my old 3.3 I had on my jato but it done it because it was wore out. How many gallon is on the motor ? Sure you have your tune rite ?

From the sounds of it, i would definately say that u might be a tad too lean on the low end needle if it does it at lower speeds like u said it does. Try richening the low speed needle approx. 1/4 turn(very small increments) at a time to see if the problem clears up....
