Besides the T-Maxx 4908, do you think that they will ever make a 1/8th scale T-maxx or Revo? To be larger than the Savage XL?

there is a good chance they may be coming out with something bigger. the hobby is going toward bigger 1/8 trucks buggies and truggies.. traxxas, being as it is, surely would come out with something to compete in the such a big market of the hobby.

I'm sure they have something up their sleeves but no one will know till traxxas says so,traxxas never lets any info leak unless they want it too...

I think it certainly would be both interesting and cool to see traxxas come out with a 1/8 vehicle, whether it be a buggy or a truck; it wouldnt matter to me, I think it would still be cool none the less....[8D]

They aren't paper weights. If they were then how come about 70% or more of revo racers use the 3.3? We have been over this in other threads....

Well I dunno what type of engine they would put in...maybe they would finally come up with a Big Block of their own to put in it.....

RE: Do you think Traxxas has ever thought about a 1/8th scale?
I can understand why they wouldn't make a bigger truck, hey have made their rep on power to weight ratio. they came out with the first racable Nitro monster truck (Tmaxx) and even under great pressure (Savage) still won its fair share, even with the pro .15. Then came the better 2.5 and a new chassis (revo) and a gap began to grow in racing, This is about where the HP wars began, I think to stop the revo. Then the 3.3 came out and all the haters started to complain that the revo shouldn't run with the other MT's. Personally, I think its the lightweight and strong small block that made traxxas famous, Power to weight ratio is what made the little trucks win and traxxas shouldn't change Just to sell a few buggies. And why do you guys want a BB when you are not satisfied with their SB? If they did a BB there would be complaints about them as well
Honestly, There is enough Nitro to satisfy everyone. i want to see an electric revo, or a E-jato. If a jato, I'd like to see a configurable chassis that would allow conventional style layout for low to mid traction tracks, and a configuration that would allow the tranny to be run mid engine and batteries across the chassis (x-6 style) for high traction tracks

RE: Do you think Traxxas has ever thought about a 1/8th scale?
does anyone even realize that traxxas has had a 1/6th scale forever? http://www.traxxas.com/products/nitr...rx_monster.htm
they also had a electric truck racer (SRT) and electric buggy racer (TCP) which if they rerealesed or even revamped they would probably have a bigger hit then with releasing a 1/8th scale throw a velineon in them label them as a RTR racer and you would probably see more people running 1/10th because its not as picky as say 1/8th scale racers who need $800 kits. and I think if somebody brought out the SRT or TCP they would still be very competitive.
