Default Sending Back An OS18TM

Hey Guys,
My OS18TM is giving me some problems. The warranty is still good on it so what do I do? Do I go back to my hobby shop and they take care of it or do I send back directly to OS.
Thanks For The Help

Hey,
Thanks for the quick response.
I think it has lost its compression. When I turn it over it won't suck any fuel up and even when I prime it, it won't start. I think that is the problem. I haven't even run a gallon of fuel through it.
If you have any more ideas let me know.
Thanks

Hey,
When I turn the flywheel over it is really is, way to easy for an engine that is suppose to be high compression. It is in a Revo3.3.
Thanks

Ya it should be pretty tuff at one gallon to turn over an OS .18,

I'm assuming your did the break-in.

Have you opened the back plate up? Id open it and see whats up with the internals its just a few screws.

Id contact OS about it. I've never heard of an OS .18 loosing compression during the first gallon.

I've got about 6 or 7 gallons on my .18 and its still hard to turn over at room temp.

But even with a very low compression it should be able to prime. I would check your tank for any pressure leaks.

There are instructions on where and what to send for a warranty claim on page 41 of your manual. If your don't have it, just go to OS' website, they have it there. You must have an original receipt which can be a pain to get if you don't have yours from last June/July.

I sent my OS 18TM in January with the same problem, loss of compression. They are going to offer to either fix your .18 for free or send you a new OS .21TM for $60.

Alright Thanks Guys
I'll just send it back to OS and see what they say. The .21 sounds nice but I don't have $60.
