Default ***VIDEO OF MY 60+mph TRAXXAS REVO STREET TRUCK***

Here's a video of my Traxxas Revo Street Truck passing under a platform that I placed about 16" off the ground and set my camera on top. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhdRrFzkeK4
The mod list is long and I will probably forget something, but here goes:

-Picco .26 Maxx engine
-THS Racing hard coated tuned exhaust
-20 tooth Robinson Racing clutch bell
-Integy 34 tooth steel spur gear
-MIP clutch shoes
-RD Logics CVD drive shafts (better design than MIP CVD's. I've had both)
-Hardcore Racing Titanium bumpers
-Lunsford Titanium turnbuckles, hinge pins, and push rods
-Integy Titanium brake disc (from dual disc set with stock brake pads)
-Integy Titanium pivot balls
-Integy center skid plate
-Integy servo guards
-Futaba 3PM radio with digital servos
-Proline 2007 Chevy Silverado crew cab body
-HPI Phaltline tires on Tremor wheels
-Traxxas Pink (front) and Purple (rear) springs
-Team Associated 50wt shock oil
-Motor saver air filter
-RPM suspension arms
-30% Sidewinder nitro fuel

Stock gearing is 15/38=45+mph. It now has 20/34 gearing. Do the math.

According to my calculations 20/34 gearing equals approx. 67mph. However, the phaltline tires are 5.5" diameter and the stock tires are 5.75". I would say that 60+mph is a conservative estimate. It probably hits closer to 65mph. The truck is still accelerating when it goes under the camera. I'm also using 30% fuel.

I hope to get a radar reading soon. Until then, believe or don't believe, I'm not going to argue about it.

^^^ I know it!
Revomad nice truck man, she's a screamer!

Not to hijack your thread but MJA how on earth did you get the diffs to stay together with a 3.3? I put my 3.3 in my rustler and within 10mins of running it,I had stripped all the teeth off the gears in the diff LOL......but I polished the sleeve and use an 11k carb haha

Positive yes, but claiming a speed with no proof...is not valid. If that's the case, my stock emaxx does 104mph with stock titans....its geared for it.

Thanks man! By the way, there is more power and top speed to be had. It was running a bit rich and engine temps were around 235. My low speed needle could be a bit leaner also, but it gets difficult to launch without spinning out! lol

Who makes those little GPS units that are small enough to fit inside the truck?

It's not hitting top speed in that video. It needs more space to peak out. It's faster than MOST Revo's out there. Let's just leave it at that until I get a radar reading.
