Well, there is a slight and I mean slight possibility that there could be a defect with them; but chances are they probably just can't stand up to a freshly rebuilt 3.3 engine because the plastic that is used for them isnt hard enough or something?? Dunno for sure but thats my best guess at this point and time....

The Mips kit I bought was simple really... The directions say you need to remove the gear box... this is incorrect i found out. All you need to do is loosen one side of the gearbox to allow enough movement to slide in the new drive shafts. It was a learning as i went kinda deal.. however. Put the shaft together fully before installing

I had to remove all the skid plates as well... no biggie really. If i had known what i was doing it woulda taken an hour... instead it took 2.

Only picture i could find for ya mate. [link]http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDXN8&P=0[/link]

You have no skid plates under your maxx? [sm=confused.gif] This could be why you are ripping up your center shafts since there is now a great deal of chassis flex without them.

Install some skids and you may be surprised.
