Default spur gear wobble

should my spur gear wobble when it is spun? what would cause this? I think its my spur gear anyway, its the big gear by the clutch on the transmission that the engine's gear meshes with.

Thanks for any help, almost done puttin my truck back together....hope it works!!!!!

Default RE: spur gear wobble

Is it the slipper disk set up with the pins and not the pads? I have the original Pro .15 with the original transmission. The spur gear in this set up has a spring and a nut that tightens down the spur gear. The wobble you speak of is normal. By way of the compression spring. Even with the slipper pins all flat, the spring still seats the Spur gear funny. Get it as best as you can, not to tight on the gear meshing my friend. you will rip up the gear..QUICK !!! and do not get the spring and lock nut to tight either. It will be harder for the clutch beel to turn the spur gear if this lock nut is to tight. And in turn it will fry your clutch shoes. Hope this helps. Have a GREAT WEEKEND !!!! DaddiMike
